Instructions On Making BBH A 'Trusted Site' In Internet Explorer

Various pages within the BBH web site use 'Javascript' to make them work - or work better. Your browser will have Javascript but is sometimes disabled so that the web sites you browse do not do 'naughty things'! This obviously breaks our pages.

We therefore ask you to perform the following simple steps to tell Internet Explorer that BBH is a 'Trusted Site' and therefore enable the Javascript functions that we require. It should be noted that different versions of Internet Explorer will have different displays, but they should be similar to the screen shots shown below and easy to follow. If you use another type of browser, for example Firefox, and are experiencing problems please contact us for assistance.

Although making BBH a Trusted Site should work, some browsers are configured extremely cautious and still have Javascript disabled even for Trusted Sites. If these steps do not work for you, it will be due to this, so unfortunately you will need to follow the additional instructions at the bottom of this page.

If you move to a different PC, and need to see this page again, there is a link to it at the bottom of every page on the BBH web site.

1. Click on the 'Tools' menu option at the very top of the Internet Explorer window.
2. Click on the 'Internet Options' menu option displayed.

This brings up the 'Internet Options' window, carry on as follows...

3. Click on the 'Security' tab at the top.
4. Click on the 'Trusted Sites' logo.
5. Click on the 'Sites' button.

This brings up the 'Trusted sites' window, carry on as follows...

6. Ensure the 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone' box is not ticked, click on the box if necessary.
7. In the 'Add this Web site to the zone:' box enter 'http://www.bbh.co.nz'.
8. Click the 'Add' button.
9. In the 'Add this Web site to the zone:' box enter 'https://www.bbh.co.nz'.
10. Click the 'Add' button.
11. Click on the 'OK' button.

This will take you back to the Internet Options window, just click the 'OK' button to close it and return you to the BBH web page.

Many thanks for taking these steps. They are needed to make sure your use of the BBH web site is as easy and reliable as possible. It is a common process for web site visitors to need to do, it is not just for BBH.
