Underworld Adventures, offer some of N Z's most celebrated eco-adventures. Underworld Adventures is located in "The Charleston Hotel" alongside SH6 in Charleston partway between Westport & Punakaiki on the South Island's West Coast.
Underworld Rafting- is our flagship activity where we transport visitors on our narrow gauge “Rainforest Train” through primeval rain forest to explore a calcitic paradise of stalagmites & stalactites in one of NZ’s largest caves. In the lower levels of the cave we float through the most amazing Glow-worm displays visible on this planet. Our return to the train is by way of fun filled tubing down The Nile River rapids.
The Charleston GlowWorm Cave Tour- is the dry version of the acclaimed “Underworld Rafting” where you will walk through to interpret an ancient "wonderland" of stalactites and stalagmites & simply "galaxies" of Glow-worms.
Adventure Caving- is a thrilling “full-on”, expedition style caving trip in an amazing “sporty” cave. |
